Hold For Release

In the news and communications world, there is a well-known and often-respected term and concept known as “hold for release.” The shorthand is “HFR.” It’s the opposite of “for immediate release” and basically is a request from an information agency for a news agency to wait to share any important information. An HFR gives news agencies a chance to gather information and prepare a story ahead of time, and release that information in the best format, on a timeline preferred by the information agency.

Over the coming days, I will share a bunch of backdated, HFR’d posts that will explain what we’ve been up to for the last several weeks.

Sticking with the news theme, though, here’s the headline: I’M PREGNANT!
